Applicants must hold a PhD/DPhil degree which was awarded in the recently 2 years; Fresh PhDs with research backgroud in (1) metal-organic frameworks for gas adsorption, catalysis and sensing;(2) well-defined catalyst for organic synthesis; 3) functional polymers synthesis are preferred. Good written and spoken English are required, along with a good research record commensurate with experience. You will manage your own academic research and administrative activities, this will involve small scale project management, to co-ordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines.
Salary for postdocs is around ¥240,000~ ¥360,000 RMB per year depending on experience and performance. The positions for graduate students are fully funded for their tuition fees. Living cost in HIT(Shenzhen) is around 1500 RMB per month (18,000 RMB per year). By the way, in HIT(Shenzhen) you can find all kinds of delicious food from all over the world, Indian/Italian/French/Japanese etc. Shenzhen is a modern and emerging super international city with various talents coming from different cultures and countries. Also, our secretary will assist successful candidates for the administrative process, such as visa, spouses and children, settlement etc.
